Re: Can you use your LTCF as a valid form of Photo ID?
You can use your LTCF for ID most of the time. One glaring example where you can NOT use it is to buy a firearm (there's a thread around here somewhere about that, but my Google-Fu is weak tonight). Some things require a state-issued photo ID, and a LTCF is county-issued.

Re: Can you use your LTCF as a valid form of Photo ID?
I use it all the time, the only place I was told(so far) that won't accept it was a Charlie Brown's Steakhouse. I use a money clip for cash and a tiny little ID type wallet for my 2-3 cards I may carry, LTCF being one. It is always on top, so it gets shown more often.
Is it five o'clock yet?

Re: Can you use your LTCF as a valid form of Photo ID?
Those PNC folks better read their own Policies and Procedures manual; it is a city, county, state, or federally-issued photo ID and is absolutely acceptable. Passport, DL, CDL, Military ID, Government ID, state university ID, CCW/CWP with photo. Credit card WITH PHOTO is acceptable only as a secondary.
Penalty for a first violation is a warning, followed by written reprimand."...a REPUBLIC, if you can keep it."

Re: Can you use your LTCF as a valid form of Photo ID?
Like many others, I love to see the confused reactions of those who are requesting identification.
One of my favorite interactions happened at Cabela's in Hamburg
Cashier: "Can I see your ID?"
Me: "Yes, thank you for checking, many people do not check anymore" *hand over my ltcf*
Cashier: "Uh, I need a State issued ID"
Me: "Oh it is, look a little closer"
Cashier: "Oh, you are right! I need to get mine. I turn 21 next month"
Me: "Good idea. It never hurts to have it"
Cashier: "Thanks, I will do that then for sure"
Back when I worked at the Old Navy in Lancaster, I had a woman come in and use a ltcf and her bank card to open an Old Navy charge account. They just need to have the ID type and expiration marked down, no numbers or anything.Active Citizen

Re: Can you use your LTCF as a valid form of Photo ID?
I've done the same thing at Paymore and F**kedagain, er, Raymour and Flanagan on the few occasions I've had to stop by to pay my wife's bill. Yes, they ask for photo ID to PAY A BILL. The salespeople are usually arrogant and leery of a factory worker coming through their doors and the first time I went in the girl at Customer Service gave me shit about not having my license on me. Well, they get my "license" now..........and I get amusement from their befuddled looks.

Re: Can you use your LTCF as a valid form of Photo ID?
For you guys with PNC issues, talk to a manager or try another branch. I use my LTCF every time I withdraw cash, while open carrying, at multiple branches with zero issues. The first time I used it I asked if they would take it, and the teller said it was no issue as they had a dropdown list for a whple bunch of different types of ID
