I have the XD .9mm Sub Compact.

After finding it difficult to get a holster I ended up with

    http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Prod...skin_tite.html

They seemed to have a nice selection of holsters for the XD.
Its on the tight side and needs to be broken in (like most holsters).
It rides slightly high, but very close to the body. Seems sturdy and made pretty well.

Holsters for the bigger XD's were readily available from most holster companies, but, a holster for the sub compact was a difficult find. From doing research the sub compact didn't fit properly in most holsters.

I hope this one works out, or else its back to leaving it home.

Hi, I have xd's and i had the same holster issue. I found that the Uncle Mikes holsters for the Glocks work excellent for my xd's, they have a tension adjustment that retains the weapon and is fully adjustable.

I have one of these that I use with my XD40 service model. It works great! I simply love it! I would recommend it to anyone.

But make sure you have a good gun belt to use it with. I think a good belt makes all the difference.

I went to the Sportsmen's Warehouse today and tried out 2 other UM holsters since they didn't have anything specifically for my pistol. The guy swore to me up and down that a #12 for G26/27 would work but when I got home it didn't fit. Well, the ankle holster kind of fit but this things too big for that style and the IWB didn't have a chance against the huge trigger guard. Anybody have any other suggestions? I just want to carry the darn thing!
Please give us a look http://www.gun-works.com We have a large selection of IWB holsters and a new style holster called the Versa, which is selling very well for us.If we can help you out or answer any questions,Please let us know.
    Thank you all

Any style of Mitch Rosen you prefer. IWB, small of the back or on the belt. His stuff is the nicest I have found. For my XD40 sub I usually use the 5JR Express with thumb break. Best feeling holster I own. When I ordered it they told me about four weeks but it was in my mail box in less than two.

I got mine a really nice OWB leather from Frontline Holsters.

You'll also find that anything that will fit a Taurus Millinium Pro will fit a XD subcompact, dimensions are almost identical. Have a Bianchi Shadow II that fits mine just fine.

Also Holster Store and The Gun Store on Ebay sell a pretty decent IWB holster at a really good price.

Safariland makes a really nice Belt (6877-148) and Paddle Holster (6878-148)for XD's but they are a bitch to find anywhere.

I ordered a XD SC holster from K&D Holsters and I love it! I heard of them through a Ruger forum (looking for a P345 Holster), K&D always have holsters for the newest guns. Their website is www.kdholsters.com. Only down side is there is a 16 week wait. But its 120% worth it. Here are a few pics.
