    In 1995, President Bill Clinton normalized diplomatic relations with the country of Vietnam, with McCain's and Kerry's visible support during the announcement giving Clinton, who did not serve in the military, some political cover.

    Okay, but I'm not sure how this relates to what I said about Feingold, natural rights and 2a.

    My Bad. I was on the McCain- Feingold legislation an thought we were discussing the law and the presidential race. Man, I got too much politics on the brain.
