I tend to agree. I would like to see a RIA after 30K. Is that more than most people will shoot? Yes. But I know exactly how a Glock, or an HK, or a Wilson, or a Springfield Custom will hold up after that many rounds. Haven't seen anybody do the same with a RIA.

I'm not saying it wouldn't hold up. But to me, a gun should definitely last thousands of rounds before being tossed in the scrap bin or completely gutted and filled with new parts (springs aside). I'm simply curious.

Right now my Glock is my defensive weapon. While I'm interested in 1911s, funds are tight and I really only have enough cash to keep and feed one pistol at the moment.
