philadelphia concealed carry

Hell, my own father swore up and down when I got my LTCF that it was a licence to carry only, meaning I could only open carry it, and I needed a seperate licence for concealed carry. To his defense, I do wish they would call it something more proper, like Licence to Conceal and Transport Firearms. I feel that would clear up alot of OC/CC/LCTF confusion.

so with a philly LTCF you can openly carry or since philly is a city of the 1st class, OC is banend.... getting alot of mixed thought on this. is it legal or illegal to carry in philly????

Yes it is legal for concealed carry in Philly with an LTCF.
Yes it is legal to Open Carry in Philly but because it is a 1st class city,only if you have an LTCF.

If you have an LTCF it is legal to carry in Philly. OC or CC. Period.

I too grew up hearing all sorts of confusing things about Philly. Thing that confuses me most is driving through Philly!
