Being free of NY would be job #1 for me. Move somewhere comfortable for the MIL, and when she passes find your dream place.
Until then, look for a club to join for outdoor range purposes.

I will look into these, Log home would be great. Two story ok as long as i have i bed and bath on ground floor. Thanks, this is nice of everyone to help out. Bluetrane, I was thinking that exact thought myself. I have to get out, then worry about the dream home.
