I bought two (gen 2) Hexmags elsewhere. I haven't used them much but they work and the quality is better than I expected.
They are solid - walls don't squish in when squeezed, and the followers feel smooth and don't tilt.
I would have expected them to be more "grippy" than they are with that hex pattern, but they are a bit on the smooth side. They should really consider texturing them.

I thought the hexmags came with grip tape in the hex pattern? I've seen it and could've sworn it was included w the mags but I don't own any so I can't verify.

Gen 1.

Full disclosure: I have another 8 or 9 Hexmags that work flawlessly. I only use them for range mags as I have trust issues. Per whomever answered my call at Hexmag, this was a issue with an early run of the FDE only mags and mine were replaced 2:1 (fo free) with black mags.

Be careful with those imitation ones like that one is. That is hit or miss. From what I have recall they have a tendency to rust. I think mine cost somewhere close to maybe $40 each for the real NATO ones. Just saying keep an eye out.
