Latest on retail 9mm Ammo Prices
Dick's in Whitehall finally got some more Remington UMC 9mm in, but they jacked up their "per case" (i.e., ten boxes, box of 50) price to $11.98 from the $8.98 it was last month.
Wal-Mart had plenty of the Remington 100 per box at $19.98... but Wal-Mart doesn't do coupons/discounts.
Cabelas had plenty of Sellier and Bellot 9mm for $10.98 box of 50, and with the usual raft of coupons (e.g., $20 off on purchases of $100, sometimes $30, depending upon the latest coupon and/or whether you use your Cabelas credit card), they seem to now be the "best buy" of readily available 9mm 115 grain at retail.
I've never purchased online ammo... the shipping was always a deal-breaker.

I know what you mean about shipping charges. I like shooting Wally-Worlds White box. It's a cheap way of getting reloadable brass. If you don't reload or don't know someone who does, you could try Blazer. It's cheap and shoots well.

If shipping was always the deal breaker, check out http://www.ammoman.com. They have some pretty decent prices on 9mm and shipping is included in the price.

Re: Latest on retail 9mm Ammo Prices
usually the smaller local shops have better prices, IMO.
I reload so I don't buy store-bought ammo much anymore.
Last time I checked,
Walmart had WWB 165gr 50rd boxes for $17 and the 9mm was like $12 for 50.Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty

Haven't check the Walmart in York yet, but the Walmart in Shelby, NC has 9mm for $8.97 a box of 50 and $19.97 for 100 rounds.

Re: Latest on retail 9mm Ammo Prices
I bet countless people would buy 2 boxes of 50. Most folks don't really pay much attention to the unit pricing. I was in the grocery store the other day and the 'economy' container of something was actually a higher per unit cost than the smaller size.
If it's a bigger box with more, it must be cheaper, right?
