Default ONE DAY COURSE ON THE LAW GOVERNING THE USE OF FORCE IN PA - June 2, 2024 - Pittsbugh

On June 2nd the Pennsylvania Firearms Development Corporation will be providing its day-long course on the law governing the use of force (including deadly force) in Pennsylvania. The course runs from 9:30 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m., and will be held at the Holiday Inn Express, 875 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh,

Don't get your legal information from the Internet.

This is a full day of discussion of the law governing the use of deadly force in PA, by a practicing litigator and firearms instructor. We started running this course in 2008 in response to the flood of utter nonsense we saw on various gun boards, posted by people with no legal education, training or experience. We cover cases and statutes, not theories, ideology or politics. We discuss various scenatios, and offer practical advice on matters such as making the decision to use force, dealing with the police, selecting attorneys, and avoiding firearms training that will pave the way to jail. Ask your questions and get authoritative answers.

This course is approved for six hours of continuing education credits for NRA LE Instructors.

The cost is $90 with advance enrollment, and $130 at the door.

For information and to enroll go to: www.fireinstitute.org

This course is sponsored as a public service by the Firearms Instruction Research & Education (FIRE) Institute, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation.
