My job requires me to anticipate worst-case scenarios.
A pound of Legos is between 300-600 bricks.
It's possible that you wear a jock strap large enough to retain a pound of Legos without an abdomen or groin area to form one of the containing sides. If so, bravo for you. Although I have to say that some of us carry our own sizeable equipment that would tend to displace a lot of Legos, so it would be problematic whether worn or carried like a European man-bag.

The only bars I would go in are ones that serve food. I've carried in places that serve alcohol. I either don't consume alcohol or put a strict limit on it. I treat a carried handgun like a motor vehicle as far as alcohol goes. I don't drive impaired....I don't carry impaired. If I want to have more than one....I do it at home.

Alcohol seems affect different people in different ways. I haven't been drunk in over 10 years.... although I sometimes like a little bit with dinner. If I had too many....I would not want to handle a gun....or any power tool or mess with any powered machinery....or motor vehicle. I would be afraid of ending up in an emergency room or causing harm to someone else. Even when drunk...I have limits and boundaries. I guess that is a form of control.
There absolutely are people out there that should not touch alcohol. We probably all know one or more.

The reality is it is necessary sometimes. It's either that or don't go armed. When the only solution is to leave it at home, you will by default be unarmed most of the time. I am not allowed to carry inside my place of employment, so it's locked in my truck. If the only solution is to leave it at home, then I'm not armed any weekday. If there's another solution I'm missing, please point it out.
