Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
I guess you really liked my rifle huh?
It looks like that has a G3K length handguard. I think anything that'll fit an HK33 will fit.
Replacing the barrel and cocking tube support are probably going to be a too complicated to be worth it. Involves shop presses, welding and whatnot.
I'd be inclined to get another PTR91. The wooden furniture sets are getting harder to come by, and so I'd be a little leery trying to modify one (but then again, I'm not the handiest person around). Plus, who can say no to an excuse to buy another gun?
If you do go down the modify route, this guide seems detailed: https://www.ar15.com/forums/armory/F...pec-/9-474670/

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Found a Ruger Mk. II Government Target Model today at Tanner's. Oddly, I haven't had any .22 LR pistols for a while, so I'm glad to have a nice example of an older Ruger. Especially a Gov't Target. Of course taking the sucker apart is a pain, and I was wondering why I didn't pick up a Mk. IV for the same price there, but I guess this is a little cooler.

Beretta 81 Cheetah .32 Italian prison guard surplus. $249 shipped from DK.
Looks practially unfired, worth the extra $20 for hand pick.

If you are trying the built in picture loader, they cannot be bigger than ~1K in size, or they will not load. Most newer phones need to have them resized. Email them to your self and select either medium or large and you should be able to use them. Go for the largest one that fits.

Just agreed to buy a 1961 DDR Makarov to join my ‘62 and ‘64. Slowly collecting the whole set. Sale includes a ‘67 dated holster and two correct but unmarked magazines. These are seller’s images (with fingerprints), I’ll try to take some better ones.

Not a firearm, but it still leaves your ears ringing. A 139 pound Peter Wright anvil for the shop!!

What did ya give for it? They've been going for a lot of money at auctions lately. I have one but the back end is broken off of it, not a big deal for me but I'd kind of like a whole one. Even with the back end off of this one it's 23" long and I don't like to move it by myself.
