Default Anvil Arms mod AA15 lower question

I have 2 of these I had picked up years ago, just came across them the other day. I've never done anything with them, and now that I've found them (been packed away for years) I'm thinking I'd like to. Now the question I have is this, both are stamped "registered pistol". Can I make them into a rifle (have no desire to do an AR pistol) without any issues regarding them being registered as pistols? I've attached a pic below.

This is just a guess, but I think it would have more to do with how it was documented on the transfer paperwork.
I don't think "engraved words" have any bearing on anything - sort of like you can build a 9mm even though the lower may have 5.56 carved into it. (most now say "multi caliber")

I do know that for the longest time, a lot of lowers were "logged into the books" improperly as "pistols, or "rifles" as opposed to "Other".
That's why I'm wondering if that could be an issue.

Yea but any ar pistol can be legally converted to a rifle in pa, if its resold before converting back its official designations would change and it could not be converted back.

Since OP wants to build a rifle, and the paperwork is of question, rifle is the safest way to go.

    Build on!

Yes, I forgot about the legality of starting as a pistol and being able to change it to a rifle and back to a pistol if you wish.

But you can't take something that started life as a rifle and make it into a pistol.

Nothing confusing about any of this. LOL

clear as mud, like when my wife hollers at me from the other room with the tv on, kids and dogs making noise........... what paperwork would i need to do to go from pistol to rifle. I think when I bought these it was during one of the scares and this was the only lower option I could find at the time. Never had any interest in AR pistols......

    No paperwork. They're yours already.

You do not need to "document" what you do with them unless you would choose to make an SBR.
