Ruger Wrangler
New 22LR SA Revolver from Ruger.
Looks like a ~$200 street price putting it as a competitor with the Heritage Rough Rider. The Rough Riders have a good reputation but being backed by Ruger vs. Taurus is a huge advantage IMO...

Re: Ruger Wrangler
That bronze one is a nice change of pace.
I have a Rough Rider, great little shooter so I'd imagine a Ruger-made version would be even better.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

I'm in. I've been looking for something to shoot .22 shorts.

Re: Ruger Wrangler
Between me and 2 friends we've had to send 4 pistols back to ruger for defect repairs in the last 2 years. At this point I have little faith that a "cheap" ruger will function correctly.

Re: Ruger Wrangler
To me they are way too chunky and kind of ugly. YMMV. And a two toned cylinder? Again, not for me.
Single action cowboy pistols should look graceful.

Re: Ruger Wrangler
Elegance is what the Bearcat is for, I think the low price point and light weight is for getting the little ones into the sport of cowboy action shooting. I may be picking up a pair for this reason alone.

Re: Ruger Wrangler
I'll stick with my 6.5" adjustable sight Stainless Single Six Convertible pre "instruction manual" revolver, but I could see one of these under the Christmas tree for my daughter if the street price is good, a Bearcat version will be a definite for her and maybe she will give me my Buckmark back ?
