Ive never been asked for proof of hunter safety course. even after not buying one in over 20 years

It's been @ 30 years since I took the course and I can't remember ever being asked for it. I somehow doubt they have a record of me taking it from back then too.

Oddly enough I still have mine 47 years later and I can have it in my hands in minutes.

You may have never been asked but I believe on the back of the license it says or used to say something like "I have completed a hunter safety course or have legally held a hunting license in PA" near where you sign

You might be right. I'll have to look at mine. I might even have one of the pre computer ones floating around somewhere.

So I want to say that I need advise because I purchased a hunting license without the Hunter’s Safety Education Card (wasn’t even asked at the gun shop where I purchased it) and went out to the shooting range in York County and Game Warden confiscated my hunting license and issued a summons...

Just wondering - You were at a "shooting range in York County and Game Warden confiscated my hunting license." How did the Warden know you had a Hunting License to begin with? What did he say when he walked up to you?
