So far, impact on the gun babes thread is minimal, so there is that!

Ditto on the meme wars thread.

If you do a google search, a lot of people are reporting this problem. I have an account, but never used it, it did not click for me fortunately.

Can you pay $40 for a month to get all your pictures from your main account and then cancel?

Did you check your other two accounts to see if they were affected yet? Maybe you can still access them.

I've been using ImageShack, I think it's around $38/year. The only problem I've had was a crash that occurred a couple years ago and I had to replace some lost photos. I also keep copies of everything that's been uploaded, JIC.
Is that where my photos went? I don't use it often and hadn't logged in for probably a year. When I did login last year, I thought I had fewer pictures. I assumed I did a purge at some point. Sounds like they did if for me.

They'll still be place holders for the missing images, and they have a repair tool to fix them. If you look and see a file name, but a blank image, that's one that's broken.

Reminds me when debit cards were free...like a junkie, they put the needle in your arm, inject you for awhile and then rip it out...hooked and paying now.

I was able to go on and download the pics I had there this morning. No cost. Then I deleted all but a couple. Was slow, think I'm not the only one doing it.

Did you have to click on the blue banner at the top of the page announcing the new terms of service before you could get to your albums?

Well I just spent about an hour to delete my account, due to all of their pop ads freezing up on my dsl connection.
