This has to do with Gov't in general abusing it's power, and other than a regional instance of some firearms use on the land becoming prohibited, it's not National Firearms related.
    Touche!

you are absolutely correct,it's not a national firearm related topic YET!

Why I barked is WHO ARE YOU TO POINT IT OUT? If a mod thought it belong somewhere else so be it.
what I mean is we're not suppose to talk politics here, and I yes I thought it was important enough to try to slide it under the radar, So BACK THE F*CK OFF!

I believe 89 percent of Nevada is federally-owned land (that term really bothers me, but that's what it is called), and, as such, I guess the residents are barely above the status of squatter...a squatter who has squatted long enough that eviction is not legal (yet) but say-so in property management is only partially obtainable.

True, which makes it a slippery slope. The day Nevada declares the feds have no power over that land (if that ever happens, of course) - Virginia might claim it back. Since it's their land, according to the original charter.

here's a pdf as to how much land is owned by .gov and what dept owns it..it looks like a pure land grab. Nevada is second to Alaska for .gov owned land.. I'm thinking it simply because they can. the population of the states are in direct coloration of the citizen population..

Don't know what the end game is but it sure make a easy target..
