Re: Anyone else boycotting the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show?
This is my favorite bow shop and am glad they are doing it. Will buy ALL of my outdoor needs from them in the future. They already had a loyal customer in me but now if I need it and they have it I am buying from them. They sell guns and all other outdoor supplies. They are located off of 283 at the Rheems Exit. This decision will cost them some $ so I will do all I can to send more business there way.
Kinsey's Outdoors has released the following statement in
response to Reed's Exhibitions ban on modern sporting
rifles and recreational firearms from the Eastern Sports and Outdoors Show:
Kinsey's Outdoors is committed to our Mission Statement of "Helping individuals, families and organizations fulfill their passions for the outdoors," which we feel includes all facets of what our Second Amendment Rights guarantee. We cannot support the decisions made by the executives at Reed's Exhibitions, which directly conflict with our principles and those of our customers.
Until a reversal of the proposed Reed's policies is established, Kinsey's Outdoors will be withdrawing all participation of the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show for 2013.

Re: Anyone else boycotting the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show?
[QUOTE=Vipertrucker;2254442]The Reed Group has announced it's not going to allow displays which include "assault weapons" at the 2013 Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show in Harrisburg. I decided I am going to boycott the event this year and sent the following letter to voice my objection to their policy. Even if they decide to recant, I'm staying home.
You can email them here:
customerhelpdesk@reedmidem.com
I sent a much shorter e-mail but with similar message .... funny, they have yet to respond.
I also sent a e-mail to NRA asking if they were going to withdraw. As a Endowment / Golden Eagle Member for years, I am a little miffed that they have yet to respond.
They do state on their website that if Reed Productions fails to change their mind on this for the 2013 show, the NRA will not be there in 2014.
If nothing else, for those of you who still intend to go, I would ask that you Do Not purchase tickets online .... keep them on the edge of their seats.
What the heck do you save anyway .... a dollar." For the left, Freedom IS a Fringe Idea "
