I'm literally two blocks away. After my last experience there, they couldn't pry a nickle from my cold dead hands.

Re: Rocky Grove Gun Show
I go every year on Sunday in March..used to live in Oil City and had done trade shows at this very hall during the Fireman's Fair each July. I always find some excellent buys at Rocky Grove in guns and and supplies. ..depends on what you're looking for and if you are capable of 'closing' a deal . It is a mid-sized show.
BTW I also go to a popular small local show held this same weekend in Ellwood City; go to the Wurtemburg Perry VFD on Route 488.

Re: Rocky Grove Gun Show
Well if they get away from maurers trading post might be ok. I won a gun there a few years back , beinf on the friends of the nra comitte in previous years and form employee at the store i knew how they priced raffle guns(what rgvfd/nra paided for them) and was offered less than half for store credit for trade in value of what the raffle paid for them. Cooperstown weatherby raffles are a better buy for the money and only 300 tickets are sold but you have to get them they sell quick. i deal in franklin i like gun town mountain, tom tarr is a hell of a guy to deal with!!!
by the by connal do you ever shoot the woods walks at the oil city issak waltons league?

Re: Rocky Grove Gun Show
I get pretty good deals at mauers, but I don't trade anything in there. I go up there enough, I get a smidge of a discount on new toys. I used to go to the woods walks, but I need to get something to use out there specifically for target shooting. Haven't been up there for one in a while, since .45 is so expensive now. Once I get something along the lines of a buckmark, or mkII/III I'll be up there for them more often.
