Clipdraw for concealed carry
Was wondering if anyone else carries with a clipdraw? Since I put one on my gun I haven't used the holster once. Although it makes going "commando" alot less fun.

Re: Clipdraw for concealed carry
I have a clipdraw on one of my 45's and am quite happy with it. It serves a purpose when I don't want to put on a holster and am only going to be carrying for a little while.

Re: Clipdraw for concealed carry
Never used one so I can't say from experience, but I would have some reservations on doing that with a larger firearm.
I can see doing that to a P3AT or something though, it'd probably work nicely for the pocket too with that.

Re: Clipdraw for concealed carry
Well, I'm a pretty big guy (6'2", 270) so it conceals pretty easily. Also, I wouldn't use this for an extended carry period (over 4-6 hours) but with me it is not uncomfortable to use.

I would not recommend one for a Glock that you carry with a round in the chamber. I would not recommend carrying a pistol without a round in the chamber.

also for long periods of time, I would think it would help rust start on the gun in places like the grip screws or elsewhere, from the body moisture to all out sweat even.

Re: Clipdraw for concealed carry
I have one on my P3AT, but don't use it. I am nervous about the somewhat exposed trigger. It would ruin my day if that trigger was somehow pulled while the thing is clipped IWB.

Re: Clipdraw for concealed carry
I have a Kel-tec P40 and a P3AT, no clipdraw on either one. I like the guns, but with no safety I prefer a holster that covers the triger.

Re: Clipdraw for concealed carry
+1 with gf45acp. Never used a clipdraw, but I would have to say be careful using any holster which doesn't cover the trigger guard or secure the trigger. It's possible for the trigger to snag on a piece of clothing and cause an AD.
