Military member, CA LIcense, LIVE in PA for work.
I live in York county and have since April of 2009. I have a California Drivers license, but am stationed in PA. How do I get a LTC in PA without having to change my license etc? I am fairly new to statutes of this state.

As far as I know (which means there's a distinct possibility that I'm wrong), changing your driver's license to PA will meet the requirements for residency to get PA LTCF. I'm not sure that you can get a PA LTCF without having a PA driver's license or non-driver's identification unless you have a CCW from your home state (which you probably don't have from California.)

You don't need to change your DL. As an Active Duty Service Member stationed in PA, just take a copy of your orders with you and you should be granted all the same rights and privledges as a state resident, like hunting licenses and fishing licenses etc...

I Am Not A Lawyer, and I don't even play one on the internet. Never mistake my opinion for legal advice. If you do need legal advise, seek it from those who get paid to give it, I know I do.

Now that is a good question. NCAD is in Cumberland county but you reside in York Co. I would go to got York and take a copy of your lease with you to prove you are residing in York Co. plus your orders.
Any further assistance, please PM me and I'll do what I can to help out.

You will need two references with their address and phone number. Make certain that they understand they may get a call from the LEO to confirm.
