From the descriptions it sounds as if one of the weapons might have been a 3-shot burst auto.

Others describe a 'shotgun' and an 'ammo belt' - maybe 2 shooters (one dead now). Looks like 6 people dead now ... technically a mass shooting. Correction: four dead plus the shooter.

While I complete agree with this...... that gun-free zones don't work...

I get this feeling that if and when we say this, anti's will simply just say "if gun free zones don't work, then we should just ban guns completely".

Correct! This is the reasoning being used in Chicago. They say their gun violence problem is because guns are available in the rest of the state. The next logical step for the anti's is to expand the gun free zones, ie make guns illegal altogether, one baby step at a time...

The day will come when politicians that create "gun free zones" and innocent people are killed, will be held accountable for their deaths. We need to make this very clear...essentially, gun free zones are zones that do not let people defend themselves.

Btw, all these shootings happen in states where these guns are banned. How's this working out so far?

Works great with drugs, doesn't it? Aren't all of the drugs that the gangs in Chicago sell and fight and die over illegal? The US sent Special Forces and SEALs to Columbia.... where they fight and die... and the Chicago gangs still have drugs to battle over and money to buy guns.

You'd think that Progressives, who were big on "drug legalization" until Reagan came along, would realize a failing policy when it sits in front of them.

This has been their made up unprovable story forever. I think that their biggest fear is that down state will rebel and go up there and clean house.

When one of their head gang bangers moved to our town and got frisky a couple of local cops at about 2 am caught him and explained to him why shitcago was different than here. One said that it took almost 5 minutes to explain that his tail light was out. By daylight the whole nest of rats had moved out and headed back to the shit hole.

Back on topic they just said on the news that if all of the magazines were loaded he would have had 1300 rds. Just anouther case of the left trying to get all it is worth out of a bad situation.
