Re: S&W 66-1
$450?
$550?
I dropped $450 for my 66-1 a few years ago, but it's the 4" barrel variant instead of the harder to find 2".

Re: S&W 66-1
For $450-$550 it would have come home with me - lol. Checking completed auctions on GB the cheapest one went for $800 then others went for $900+. And then shipping and tax and % if you use cc.
The one I can get would be around $700 all in. A good price I feel, but just not smokin"Tastefully Pimptastic"

500.00 if you*re just looking for a good deal, if it*s the exact model you want for collector gun the 700.00 wouldn*t be to bad.
Today was a good day!

Re: S&W 66-1
I have one of those. It was the first gun I bought after getting on the job in 1985. I kept the box and brown bag it came in. Not sure where they are after I moved. Does the original box make it that much better ?

Re: S&W 66-1
The 2.5" is the most desirable version, as is the -1 engineering change, and you passed on it for $700? That might be a lot of $$$, but not for a 2.5" 66-1. Saw one sell a year ago for $950, no box, and another last October, NIB, for $1285.

Re: S&W 66-1
My astonishment that Cruzans actually did NOT buy a gun was shortlived.
