    Default Adding a BiPod

I would like to add a bipod to an AR I have. I am trying to determine the most cost effective way to do so.

The stock hand guards have no rails. So, I either add a MOE hand guard, and rails to that then the hand guard. or, I buy an hand guard with them built on it with covers for them.

I'm punching paper. Any suggestion on brands or models?

i have both a harris and caldwell bipod. Both work fine the harris is made a liltte better but at half the price the caldwell is not bad. As for a handguard buy one u like. The moe is a great cheap handguard with rail attachments included. but with both the harris and caldwell they attach using a bipod stud so u will need some kind of adapter. i have seen alot of utg bipods that are pretty cheap might wanna look into them if price is a concern. Go to amazon and do a search for bipods and u can read tons of reviews on different bipods.

I did not know the MOE came with rail attachments. If so, that would make it a no brainer. I do not thing it does however.

I'm looking at the UTG that is reviewed by Nutnfancy at the moment.

I have two of these from Amazon. Solid as a rock for punching paper without breaking the bank.

I could be wrong it might not come with the rail sections. I though it did.
