Damn you SIG!

Placed an order at Tanners almost three weeks ago fro a P226EE, was told a week to ten days, fair enough.
Called after a couple of weeks went by without hearing from the guys at the store<sigh>.
Expected date is now Sept 7th!!!!
I would still have ordered from Tanners, just would have been nice to know, so come SIG get that production run going!

I think I see your problem here. You were thinking in "real" time, while Sig operates in "Sig time".

When they say a model is to be introduced in the spring, in real time that is around November.

With models already in production, one week of real time equals five weeks of Sig time.

As much as this BS drives me crazy, with Sigs I generally find it worth the wait. One last thing - I'm 100% certain that what Tanner's told you was simply a reiteration of what Sig told them - so when it comes to laying blame, make sure you don't misplace it.

My 229 stainless elite was ordered from Sig after it was said that they were available...it took five months. After the first 3 months of waiting I called and was told they were just going into production.

You can't move without falling over a 226, yet when I order one new, suddenly they are like rocking horse shit.......rare!
