how do you find grants for schooling?

some of you may have read my "gots no bread' thread well this is a carry over of that.

I applied to Pennsylvania gunsmithing school and was wondering how and where to apply for grants?

I am starting PA Gunsmith School in febuary, the lady in their financial aid dept. told me to fill out this form called a FAFSA, and can be done online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Apparently it determines if you are eligable for and how much money you could recieve through a state pell grant. I don't know what the complete process is, or how long it takes because I still need to do it myself.

In addition, look into federal Stafford loans. Also, press the school's financial aid counselor for all the assistance you can get.

yeah, even if I start a little before you, it's not a huge shop so we probably will see each other. Also, if you wish, call and ask to speak with the financial aid dept., she is there mon-wed till 2 or 3 o'clock, when I visited in mid sept. she was very helpful and spoke with me for about an hour on all the different options.
