Shooting on your own property
Is it legal to shoot on your own property in Bucks County? I live on a 22 acre lot... I specifically live in New Hope.

Here is the Code of Ordinances for New Hope, PA. Link was found on their own website:
http://www.ecode360.com/?custId=NE2409
I found it here:

Oh look here is a preemption violation:
To possess, carry or use firearms or prohibited offensive weapons (as defined in 18 Pa.C.S.A. § 908, as amended) at any park, recreation or open space area within the Borough of New Hope.
To carry or use firearms, bows and arrows, traps and lures or any other missiles or means of catching, trapping, or killing animals and/or to bring into or upon any park, recreation or open space lands, or have in his or her possession, any type of hatchet, axe, saw or knife, except for duly appointed law enforcement officers while carrying out the duties and responsibilities of their position.

Whatever township you live in would be where you start. Most have their ordinances online. Probably fall under noise, nuisance or discharge of firearms.

Re: Shooting on your own property
Newtown proper or one of the townships? I have a Son that lives near the Grange outside Newtown. I think that is Newtown Township but Wrightstown, Lower Makefield, Northampton and Middletown Townships are all right there. Which one is the property in?
