Default Tactical stock for 870 express

Looking to add a new stock and forend to my 870.

I have looked at the Blackhawk and Phoenix kits. Anyone have experience with these? and pictures?

What else are you guys using on your 870s?

Also going to be getting a 18.5" barrel and an extended mag tube.

That's really nice. Will have to add it to the list. Do they come in other colors (od or fde)

I'm the opposite. I don't mind pistol grip stocks on shotguns, but prefer a standard stock on them. I'm going to have to get used to the pistol grip stock on the Benelli M4 I have inbound because I'm not crazy about the idea of paying $180 to replace it with a standard one.

While on the subject, I think it sucks that Benelli doesn't offer the option to buy the M4 with a standard stock directly from the factory. At present, they only sell it with a pistol grip stock and if you want a standard stock, you have to buy it afterwards for the aforementioned $180. The real kicker is that, in Europe, they'll sell the M4 to you with either stock installed.

I have a Hogue overmolded stock (don't know if that's tactical) on my Rem 870P. The LOP is 12 inches, this squares my shoulders into the gun which helps with recoil and faster follow-up shots. I don't wrap my thumb around the stock because it will hit me in the nose.
