PA Turnpike Road Rage Leaves 2 Dead
Last Friday afternoon, an apparent road rage incident occurred on the PA Turnpike, in Brecknock Twp, NE Lancaster Co.
Police are asking for witnesses to help solve what happened. The last I heard, this is what they have pieced together:
A flatbed pickup truck was reported as being in an accident off the road, possibly medical emergency. First responders arrive before police and find the driver (40) unconscious in the front seat. A bullet hole was noticed in the windshield and the man’s head. No gun found in the vehicle.
The next day, a truck driver (59) is found in his semi in the Walmart/Lowes shopping center parking lot at Morgantown/Elverson (the next exit east bound). He is discovered to be dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound. That gun fired both bullets.
Monday evening, the pickup driver died in the hospital
So they concluded that during a road rage incident the trucker fired a shot at the pickup driver, who was struck in the head and veered off the road. The truck driver got off at the next exit and parked in the parking lot. At some point, decided to off himself and remained there until someone discovers him.
Police are requesting witnesses & dash cam footage

Wow. That's sad.
Maybe anger management class should be a requirement starting in high school.

The craziness on the NE Ext has certainly gone off the rails. I can't believe the crap I see people do or try to do, especially when you're stuck behind someone perfecting the art of the "slow speed pass," riding the left lane for like 5 miles while they pass a vehicle while going .0001 mph faster and the traffic backs up...
