Default Moving To PA Shooting Ranges Williamsport Area

I worked several months last year in the Williamsport area and now will be moving there next month from Western Colorado.
I just bought a Tikka T3 6.5x55 rifle for long range target shooting. I got it dialed in to 800 yrds and the up down knob for the scope broke. The scope still holds zero but thats not a problem right now. My boys Tikka T330-06 just got dialed into about 600 yrds. Yes I like the T3. I want to see which T3 can shoot the farthest consistently. The range in Grand Junction has steel targets out to and way past 1000 yrds. Someone just put some steel targets way past 1000 meter target and we took shots at them and I never did see where the bullets landed. They sell a lot of 338LM, 416, 50 cal, etc out here.

Are there any public or privet places to shoot out past 1000 yrds in the Williamsport area?
I don't like to shoot paper, steel target plinking is what I bought the 6.5x55 T3 for. I have some steel targets, are there public lands that one can set up and shoot long range on?

There is a range down in that area that they shoot 1000 yards nearly every weekend. I don't know any more about it.
