Norinco SKS Paratrooper
I know the prices on these have gone up a lot and it's hard to keep track of what they are going for. I can't find one on gun broker or guns america to see a goin price for this model. What do you think is fair price? I can get one tomorrow for $265 cash + tax. Do you think that's good or no? Also I believe this came into the country during some shitty ban so there is no bayonet.
Let me know what you think.Feddog82 Feedback Page http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.ph...light=feddog82

Re: Norinco SKS Paratrooper
I would say $265 is a fair price. I saw one a year ago go for $250 so $265 in today’s climate aint so bad. Now, if you want the bad news---when i bought mine 10+ years ago i paid $89 for it new.

Re: Norinco SKS Paratrooper
For better or worse, the SKS carbines (aka Paratrooper) always cost more then the standard rifle with it's 20" barrel. The Paratrooper should have the standard 10-12 round fixed box magazine.
I paid about $180 or $190 when I bought mine about 12-14 years ago.
This is my "toss it behind the truck's seat" rifle.
I like mine...

Re: Norinco SKS Paratrooper
That's about going price for the run-of-the-mill SKS right now (Yugos mainly) I would definitely pick a paratrooper up for that price. I might pass if it was rusted into pieces though Go for it!! Many/most Chinese SKS rifles came in w/o bayonet, by the way.

Last one I saw was at the Valley Forge show last summer, nice shape and had a price tag of $300....I took notice because I bought mine around 1994's AWB time period for $125

Re: Norinco SKS Paratrooper
Please buy it, this isn't 1987 anymore!
I just seen a standard - but ALWAYS STILL NICE - 20" CHICOM for $250.00 at the Wash Cty Gun Show, and I am still pissin and moanin that I didn't buy it.
For $265.00 - that's good. We'll never see anymore CHICOM SKS's come into this country again - breaks my heart to see folks bubba them up.

Re: Norinco SKS Paratrooper
I got to the store early this morning and they still had it. I was happy as could be and took it right away. $265 out the door. Now should I shoot it or keep it all nice and in box like it is?
