Yes there are Lever shotguns, I recently saw one at Allegheny River Arsenal not sure the price on it, but they do exist. They can be found in most popular guages also.

The 87 Winchester was a lever shotgun made for black powder shotshells.

They are hard to find, and bring big dollars.

Marlin Made the model 410. A .410 lever shotgun that was later re-introduced.

Winchester made the 9410. A 94 Winchester chambered in .410

The Winchester can be had with a fixed choke... and then they came with Invector choke tubes.

Both the Marlin and the Winchester .410 lever shotguns can still be found, but both bring a fairly high price beginning at around $800.

I'm suprised that no one makes one for cowboy action shooters.

There are reproduction Model 87 Winchesters available. There were a few for sale at the Harrisburg gunshow this weekend. Something for the SASS folks. Sorry, can't remember the price.

Was it perhaps a NORINCO?

Norinco makes a 97 Winchester pump replica, and was supposed to make a 87 lever action....I have yet to get my hands on one.

It didn't take Winchester long to learn that the lever shotgun was a distant second to the speed, reliability and lower production cost of the pump action.

If I was shooting SASS, I would use a 97 or SXS double.
