Default need info on a stoeger condor/uplander

Hey guys, I am looking into a stoeger uplander (s x s) or a stoeger condor (o/u). Are any of these guns better than the other or are they both great/junk? Your input is appreciated.

Low end guns of course, but it doesn't mean they are all junk. I've seen a handful of posts with problems on a half dozen forums. Bang for buck, they are worth it. Not every fellow can afford a mid to top dollar double barrel gun.

Just go to a turkey shoot at some sportsman's club.. I'm willing to bet that one of the doubles that are brought in is a Stoeger.

I've owned a condor supreme and an uplander coach gun. They both worked fine for me. A little stiff to open up at first but they loosen up with use.

Stoeger give's a lot of bang for the buck. I've had a few and like them. They are not the high end shotgun, but you don't mind taking them in the woods on a not so nice day. I got rid of an Uplander because it had double triggers and after shooting the Condor with a single trigger, I don't want double triggers. Both are well built, lock up nice, and mine shoot good.

The Stoeger SXS's that I have shot have a dispreportionate "kcik" for their gauge. A design problem I think. Just my experience. I have not shot the O/U.

A guy I know is having probs with his SXS and it only has 100 rnds through it. It won't fire Remington but will fire other brands. We suspect the pin is not hitting hard enough on the harder rem primers. we have to test yet to be sure.

More kick could be due to lower gun weight or a stock that has less drop to it.

Lighter guns dont absorb as much recoil, and a straighter stock will shove back more than roll upwards that a stock that has my drop to it.
