anyone here reload 12 ga shells?

i would like to get some 12 ga loaded with rock salt, but i can't seem to find any where that sells them.

I would never have salt anywhere near one of my guns. Just my opinion. I'm sure they'd hurt like hell, though.

Haven't seen anything like that in any online stores, though. Definitely not in local stores. Maybe ammunition to go will have something that would be a good substitute? They carry a good range of 12 gauge specialty ammo.

i got nailed with it when i was just a wee lad stealing corn out of a field. it got me right in the inner thigh. it was not the most pleasant thing that ever happened to me. but i'm still alive. anyway i was just looking for some salt filled shells and couldn't find any online or in any local store so i thought i would see if someone here would load me some.

Forget the salt! I'd think about this instead for a " less" lethal round. Just remember that both rubber and salt can be lethal at close range.

I'd be really surprised if any one took you up on that. The legal ramifications could be tremendous and none of them good.
I remember when I was a kid about fellows getting shot, as you did, with rock salt. That was 45 years ago. Those were simpler times in some ways.
In this day and age, regardless of what some character is doing, shooting someone with a charge of rock salt is a good way to end up in jail or, at least, in a very expensive lawsuit. Included in that suit could be the person who loaded the ammo for you (though I suppose that would depend on you).
The idea of mixing salt and steel does not appeal to me in any case.
