Behind the door shotgun rack / holder?

question: do you commit these shotguns to a safe every morning when you leave for work? I'm just too cautious about leaving things hidden and not locked up, and yes I realize most safes aren't truely 'safe'.

I'd love to be one of those examples of a cool grid wall to glance at and enjoy firearms, but instead it's all safe fodder and rotations in and out of steel.

I wonder if those blocks are made to "pivot", allowing stocks with slightly different angles to "fit" as well.

I like it too but think it may be better suited for a wall instead of a door.

You could add another piece of wood to trap the stock.

If you put some ribbed rubber on those pieces of wood it would lock it it in pretty firm I guess. I like this idea. Looks nice to put in the back of our bedroom door.
If someone only could come up with an idea like this for a pistil grip.

How about thosw hangers they use for brooms. They have a slot for the handle to go into with a rubber roller to grab the handle when it is in the slot.

Something like this.

That's exactly what I meant. Talk about a nice cheap gunrack...lol....betcha to say that it will actually hold some weight to.
