I hope you were sober when you bought the shotgun. Otherwise, you might have bought a picture of a shotgun instead. LOL

If you can't tell..I am a bit anebriated. We had a going away party for a neighbor. He is Navy, we dont' hold it against him too much. The neighborhood is a big family.
We got the doting mother. We got the emotional sister. We got the over protective brother....(me) We got the over drug using sister. We got the meant brother. We got the wierd uncle. We got the aunt we never see. It's a full family. The guy I bought the shotgun from, legally, is the brother everyone wants. He is cool, Stays just under the radar, but if you have a party, he brings beer. (we all bring beer, be he brings it too.)

I think I remember opening and closing the slide, handing the money ($35) over. Again, we'll see tomorrow when I am fully sober. I only had 7 or 8 beers when I handed the money over. Damned family. I think I was sober enough to buy a house today too. 1800 Square Feet house, 3 bedroom, 1.5 baths, 1/2 acre lot. 12 year note, $440 a month. At least I think I remember the agreement. Been a long day. The $440 includes the taxes and insurance. It is also in Arkansas. (my wife is trying to be discharged and move back closer to my home for help.)

Are you sure you didn't pay $1800 for a 35 square foot house and $440 for a shotgun? This could be bad!

Not necessarily. A good shed that size might run about $1800. Of course I'm the guy that would buy the $200 aluminum shed at Lowes and spend another $100 on wood to make it hold it's shape in the wind. I haven't done it, but I thought about it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As you can tell, it has need of some TLC. It has a few knicks in the wood. The paint job on it is in need of either being redone or just being blued. I am thinking about doing the bluing on it, rather than the home done paint. There is minor rust in the chamber, but I took a q-tip with a bit of CLP on it, and it came right out. No evidence of pitting, and the barrell looks good. As my dad put it when I told him about it, It could have a 2X4 for the foregrip, and a 2X6 as the buttstock and it would still be worth more than what I paid for it. The wife is not real happy about it. But she can't complain too much, besides when she does, I just reply back with $36. Oh, and I double checked to make sure it was in the storage closet when I got up this morning. Luckily I was sober when I awoke. The house, I'll post pics after my trip home this summer and we get the furniture that my mom is taking with her out. My mom was going to sell it anyways and move into my Granny's house. With us buying it, it saves a lot of headaches, and helps me rebuild my credit. (I am only being added onto the mortgage.) It has 12 years left on the note. Worst case scenario, me and the wife never live in it, but we'll have the equity.

Oh, and it was $36. My wife told me that was how much I handed her when she went to the commisarry. It never made it into my wallet or pocket.
