Default Looking for a -GOOD- Rem 1100 smith

I have a Remington 1100 that's set up for 3 gun Open Division. It has a 10 round extension tube, red dot scope, and Tec Loader. The gas ports were opened a but though I don't know the exact dimension.

It just isn't reliable. It works -most- of the time but fails to feed at least one round every 2nd or 3rd stage.

I have replaced the O-ring several times, just replaced the entire gas seal, tried a new mag tube spring and follower, clean/slight polish the mag tube with steel wool, and cut 1" from the action spring. Replacing the O-ring improved reliability marginally but is far from eliminating it.

Rounds just aren't feeding. I don't know if it's short stroking or what. It works fine when cycled manually.

Anyway, I'm looking for a good gunsmith, preferable in the Harrisburg/York/Lancaster area if anybody can recommend somebody who has experience making 1100s run.

My 1100's always liked a good cleaning of the gas port under the barrel. A pipe cleaner has worked wonders several times whe they failed to cycle a second shot.
You can also totally take one down and clean the chamber and trigger group if that does not work.
Sorry i don't know any smiths in your area.
Hope this helps.
