Default Need the most practical-self defense..

hearth and home shotgun..prefer a pump with a squeeze operated flashlight that....get this..fits into a 38" x 6" box(lol) I'm totally serious. I built it for a very peerdy old pump shotty with an exposed hammer that I really don't trust...now.

Come-on.. I can't be the 1st fella that decided on the "lifesaver" til it came down to becoming the "lifesaver" and then decided maybe alittle more money could be thrown at the tool that might defend the family!? My bust..I just don't wanna trust my family's life on it.

Let me try again...

I finally decided tonight was the night to cut a hidden box into my bedroom wall (had a real close call recently) for a shotgun hideaway. I have a revolving door for kids so keeping anything 'nearby' without a total lock-down is out of the question. This was the best solution for my senerio except for the fact that I don't trust the weapon behind the wall now that I have it there. 38X6 box..you got advice? I know about crack.

I'm not concerned about your grammer. I just have no idea what you are trying to say. Are you asking a question or making a comment on your original post?

rem 870.

there's a lot of different models...any of them will do....just get a shorter barrel (18"-20") with a smooth bore barrel (so you can shoot buckshot or slugs)

I was at Gander Mountain yesterday and they had a nice Mossberg with a pistol grip in a bandoleer'ed waterproof tube container for $299. It included survival stuff in it. Almost like a mini bug out bag lol

I'd think that any of the 18" barrel 12 gauges would do you fine.
