Question Shotgun barrel length??
Is someone able to clarify a question for me; Is it illegal to cut down a shotgun I own to less than 18" barrel length, or is it the sale/transfer of a short barrel shotgun that is illegal?

It is illegal without a NFA tax stamp to possess a shotgun with a barrel less than 18" measured from the breachface. Get your tax stamp from the federal government first.
