Angry Another Fun Encounter at Locks in Philly

So I've posted a couple times here about bad experiences with one particular employee at Locks Gun Exchange in NE Philly. Yet another experience with this employee today (finally got his name, Domonic) is leading me to again relate a story...

In the process of a PICS check another customer asked this employee if a handgun could be carried concealed in PA. Employee responded "Not without a CCP." Customer said he had an LTCF. Employee told him he needed a CCP, not an LTCF. I chimed in "You sure those are different things in PA?" Employee responded YES, I'M SURE.

Didn't have any literature on me so I just shrugged it off, however I plan to hand out a few pamphlets next time I'm there. Yet ANOTHER negative encounter with this particular employee... *sigh*

I'd have posted this in OC/CC section but I think the level of knowledge displayed might affect people's decision to shop there, thus, I posted here.

Ahh yes, the gunstore commando/lawyer/tactical urban operator/sniper/mall ninja. These guys are quite popular these days.

Hey Al, you should speak with the manager or owner and let him know that an employee has no idea what he is talking about. If the owner is a dick let us know here and blast the story. I do not go to that shop, I do not like it.

The owners name is John... He is a no nonsense type of guy, known him and been doing business with him for almost 15 years..
The guy Dominic, if it's the same guy I'm thinking of, is an ex cop.

That explains his wealth of knowledge...

Lock's is my least favorite shop ANYWHERE. Even though I live within walking distance I won't go there, for anything, ever.

They're overpriced to begin with, they're rude and seem to have no interest in helping anyone.

Its a damned shame because John, the owner, has comped me more than once... I like the shop, the selection... just not this one employee.

Next time I'm in I think I will talk to John about this. Bitching on the internet only goes so far...

Every time I have been there Mrs Lock is there. Maybe you should mention it to her. I have also had favorable experiances with Dave.

My business goes to Delia's. I've had too many bad experiences at Lock's.

What is it with Philly based shops? Everyone I speak to never has a nice word to say about these places. It must be a Philly thing.
