Like Phillyshooter said, the gem buried in the dirt here is Delias on Torresdale. I haven't heard nor can I say one negative word about that place.

You should have asked him if he has said permit. If yes, you could have compared your LTCF with his CCP. Show him where yours says License To Carry Firearms and ask to see where his says anything different.

That's worked for me on quite a few occasions.

On a side note, that's why some people, myself included, are sticklers for calling it what it is, 'License To Carry Firearms', not what it isn't, 'Concealed Carry Permit'.
There is already so much misinformation and misunderstanding on the subject that using incorrect terminology just perpetuates the situation, even among those who really should know better.

I too have delt with this smacked ass a couple of times before. If i go there I'll wait till somebody else is done with a customer and ask them questions. I had him chime in while i was talking with one of the other workers once and told him to mine his own . He is ignorant as the day is long .I known John for about 13 years though my Brother, who introduced me to him. John needs to fire that guy. yea he a little high but sometimes he has just what i was looking for.

Lock's is on my route of places to go when I'm treasure hunting.
I've purchased several guns from John and have generally had good experiences there. Some of the asking prices are high, but I've noticed that was mostly on the consignment guns where the prices are set by the owner of the gun.

I'm not defending the guy in question by any means, but sometimes I think the "attitude" comes from dealing with some of the "questionable" clientele that wanders in off the street.

To the OP, give John at Locks a call or better yet stop in to tell him about your bad experiences. I think he really cares about his business and would appreciate getting your feedback. If the guy behind the counter is as big of a douche as he sounds, I'll bet yours won't be the first complaint about him.

Delias is truly a great little shop just a few miles away. The older guys that hang out in there are a regular comedy show. It's worth stopping in just to hear them pick on each other.
