Any normal person, not a regular, who sees TM's sign would think it's 'no carry'. Allowing 'regulars' or ignoring customers who are CCing isn't the same as allowing carry.

As for the ammo thing, you are both right in some ways. They do ban some ammo, namely "Winchester 100rd. Bulk/Value packs" like they say on their website.

I could understand the WWB 100 rounds being banned as people say there are some issues with them, but I can't figure out why any aluminum or steel cased rounds are restricted... Also I've seen people shooting steel cased .40 s&w, so i'm not sure about this one. I've never heard of any safety issues with aluminum or steel cased ammo, maybe you can elaborate?

If there is some safety issue I would really like to know, since I carry Federal Premium handgun Hydra-ShokŪ JHP which are steel cased.

That all being said, you have the right to not shop there just as much as they have the right to not have people carrying. I don't mind people posting their opinion in response to someone posting about TM, but you guys took it way to far IMO.

I shot a lot at TM when I went to school in Philly. They defiantly have a lot of inexperienced people coming in, so I sort of understand their policy. The service is mostly good, but when its busy or it's later in the day, they aren't in as good of a mood. They have a lot more rental guns than most places in Philly, so that's always nice. Haven't been there in 6 months or so.

i think the no steel case an alumnium has something to do with selling the brass picked up by the range.

Yes, this is why. They sell the spent brass.

I have not had a problem following the rules there. They are friendly and helpful each time I have been there. Only real problem was waiting for service sometimes can be lengthy. No real complaints that I wouldn't have shopping at any other store, to be honest.

i live 2 hours away from targetmaster but it was one store i wanted to visit. on the way home from the beach i just happen to pass buy it so i stopped in. first off i dont like the dress code come on do i really need to put my baseball cap on straight and to the front. like this makes much of a difference of the type of person i am. i am no thug and have been handling guns all my life. so after bitching about that i put my hat on their way and went it. boy was that a big freaking mistake. there were like 2 other customers in there and i stood at the counter for like 20 mins wanting to see a gun while a few of the employees just stood around. when i finally seen the gun it was priced $50 bucks more than my normal gun shop. what a joke they claim to have such good prices. so after all that i went back to my normal gun shop (shydas) and purchased my ruger lcp plus got a free box of ammo.

I have been in there sometime you get waited on right away sometimes you wait. as for attitudes i never got any negative feelings from the sale guys. why do i go there well for one thing they have ammo. i try to buy a few (6-8) boxes a month and they have them. also it is one of the few places with glock and hk and sig mags in stock. not the cheapest but they stock them. beside they are only worth what people are willing to pay.
i have never used the range but it a business and they do have expensives. so you can not fault them on making a profit. with range clean up fees and maint, plus insurance plus salaries.

I've been in there a few times and only ever had one complaint. One of the sales guys got a little miffed that I don't like Glocks. He wanted me to look at one and I said I'm not a Glocks fan. Told him I appreciate they are very well made, are very reliable, durable, and accurate. I however do not like the way they feel in my hand or the balance when I shoot them.

He was all pissed off because I was bad mouthing Glocks and said I must not know too much about handguns, walked away and said someone else deal with this guy.....I can't.

One of the other employees apologized and helped me instead. I did wait for a few days then went back when he wasn't there. The price was too good to pass up.

That was the last time I was there. Spend money elsewhere now,but thats mainly because of driving distance and I don't get in that area anymore.

I know who that is. He is a good guy gotta respect people's opinions on other firearms, at least he was truthful with you and did not lie or spread entirely false information.

I am glad that it did not deter you form patronizing there.

he doesn't sound like a good guy to me he sounds like a jackass letting himself get all worked up and bent out of shape because a customers doesn't like glocks. if a buyer doesn't like glocks sell him what he doesn like and sell the glock to someone else who's interested in purchasing one.

Like you are getting worked up about something that did not even happen to you? Oh the irony.
