Plenty of folks come in and ask them if they can carry...the employees say they have no problem with concealed carry...and that's that.
LOL except when they are talking to me, and you read the sign on the door or hanging over the counter that as you pointed out says it has to be unloaded and cased.. sure..

And again with the wal-mart bashing when you seem to ignore the facts.

Politics has nothing to do with it, its whinning about not being able to steal money from people pockets by charging an arm and a leg for the same thing.

Walmart pays more on average than mom and pop places.

Wal-Mart provides their employees with health care plans and free or reduced Rxs!

I don't know but I doubt target master does anything near what walmart does for their employees!

Walmart even has to hold her job if she has to go in the hospital or her dad dies.

Does targetmaster? Do they even offer disability insurance?

Walmart specifically allows open carry or rather since you seem to not know exactly what I mean They allow carrying of firearms within the laws of the jurisdiction they are under. DOES THE GUN STORE, TARGET MASTER, ALLOW IT nooooooooo. Nice!

All that and targetmaster prices on Winchester was 50-100% more than walmart!

so yeah I'll go to wal-mart so the senior citizen greater can get free rx's, the checkout girl can get health care for her and her baby while making more than at the typical mom and pop store while they save me $$$ and support my second and article22 rights instead of a gun store that doesn't!

What about walmart is anti-gun? Many sell rifles where there is a market, like where I am, they sell bullets and they allow open and conceled carry..
Look at it this way. The two good things about a trip down 202 are stopping at Jimmy John's for a couple dogs and straying over the border to exercise my FL CWP down in DE. If I want agita, the campy humor of barely restrained latency, and a cavalier attitude towards 2A I know just where to go.

Then your experience is unique to everyone elses in the past 3 years.

They have never asked folks NOT to carry concealed, since the day I started there.

Yup, for gun which are to be used on the range, or which they can see.

How do you think they can ask you to unload a gun which they don't know you have?

This is policy aimed at folks who are buying/ selling in the store, and renting/ and shooting gun on the range. Folks who are trying on holsters, showing their friends their guns, etc.

It is an effort to cut down on loaded gun handling off of the range. Concealed guns which stay concealed are not handled... unfortunately too many noobies like to handle their pistols off of the range, without unloading them first.

I understand where the confusion comes from, for someone who've never been there, and only read the sign out front. Simply asking ANYONE who works there tends to clear this up. I've gone out of my way to explain this to you, yet you still don't want to believe it.

If you don't believe me, call them and ask. Just quit making shit up like "your not allowed to carry in there".

Does Walmart sell pistols? ARs or AKs? Home defense shotguns? Holsters? Personal defense ammo?

Do they contribute to the NRA? GOA?

They sell "sporting" rifles to hunters, and plinking ammo. They are no different than the politicians who backed the 94 AWB against "weapons with no sporting purpose".

Funny about a month ago I OC'ed in there for a good three hours. Nobody said a thing. Then I had two chili cheese bacon dogs at JJ.
