Default New gun shop Bridgeville Pa.

E. R. Shaw custom guns is currently remodeling a storefront in Bridgeville Pa at the intersection of Bower Hill Rd./Murray ave and Washington Pike (Rt 50)

This location would be traveling southbound on I-79 exit 54(Bridgeville) Get off exit, bear right ,go 200 yds to light at Exxon station, make left, cross bridge into Bridgeville. At third light, store will be on left hand side. Grey brick building.

No tentative opening date but I didn't get close enough to read any other posted info.

That means between this location,Firearms Unlimited in Kirwin heights and Federal firearms on Thoms run rd, I shouldn't have to drive more than 3 miles to hit all 3.

Nice. I have an AR with one of their barrels. Could you price a lightweight (pencil) 16" if you get in the door.

So that's who's going in there. Are they closing their Thoms Run Road location?

Firearms Unlimited maybe on borrowed time. I bought a gun in there back in November and the owner was talking about closing the shop. Reason was he was tired of dealing with CHEAP customers. I called around looking for a specific gun which they and several other gun shops had. The difference was Firearms Unlimited quoted me a price $200 cheaper then anyone else. Needless to say I was down there in less than 30 minutes to get the gun. So if any of you want the competition between different guns shops to continue I advise you to shop these smaller gun shops. If not then get ready for much higher prices when these businesses leave the market.

That for sale sign is for the building. The shop is a separate issue.
The owner of Firearms unlimited also owns the building.

FWIW, the owner of Firearms Unlimited is going to stand trial on attempted homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges after a shooting incident back on Januray 27th. The shooting took place in North Strabane, so the Post Gazette didn't cover it, but the Washington County Observer Reporter did. If you'd like to read the latest info about it, you can find it here:

There were 2 previous articles too, which you can find by entering "Carola" into the search box that's on the left side of the page.

I knew about that and was going to post it but I could not find the supporting information. I was looking in the Post Gazette. That is why I thought Firearms Unlimited was for sale. It will be pretty hard for him to stay in busuness if convicted. Thanks colagrrl

It is kinda interesting that the paper changes the caliber of the gun three times. First it is a 22, then a 32 then it becomes a 35.

I heard about this also and was going to post this info but chose not to.

I had no information or way to confirm it so didn't post.
