Thumbs down BELDING & MULL PHILIPSBURG, PA

Yesterday I stopped in Belding & Mull to pick up some primers. The two people behind the counter took care of the one other person in the store while I waited. Not a problem. Then when they were done with him they just flat ignored me. The one turned his back on me and fiddled with a sling swivel on a gun. The other went to playing with the cash register. I just stood at the counter. This went on for about 2 minutes and I had enough. As I walked out I told them I would not be back. Up to this point I had been happy with the service but that was enough. I drove today to Grice's and got my primers. They were $2.00 cheaper that at Belding & Mull and the people were a lot nicer.

I think an Obama T-Shirt would have got me taken care of and out the door real fast, not a bad idea.

???? That's too bad. I have had the exact opposite experiences between the two places.

+1.

If Grice was a restaurant, customers would starve for lack of customer service.

I've never had a bad experience at B&M, but I will say that they tend to let you look around and not bother you. But when you ask for help, they are front and center, in my experience.

Me too.
That short guy who works the counter at Grice's is a bit of a prick.

You noticed that too? That is the one and only gunshop that I've gone to buy a gun several times and could not get service. Not once have I managed to get to fill out a 4473 due to the utter lack of service at Grices, and I'm talking over 18 years of buying guns for myself and going to that store. I believe I've gone there at least 15 times with the full intent to buy a gun they had in stock and on the rack, but it turned out to have been a wasted 50-70 mile round trip for nothing or having to go to Bob's Army-Navy for service. I've never met such an obliviously blind bunch of employees as those at Grices.

I will never set foot in Grices again.

Why do people who work at gun shops think they are special or something? I hate having to wait around while the high and mighty get off his horse to help me out.
