Default Milsurps in Philly Area?

Hi everyone.

Are there any stores around Philly that sell military surplus rifles? I'm specifically looking to buy a K31 and, of course, whatever else I stumble upon. They are all over the internet, but I'd rather see before I buy. thanks in advance.

I'd say a local gun show certainly, but I dont recall seeing any MilSurp stuff around Philly Gun Stores.

Everything I've seen that fits your description was there on special order.

Here's a list of local FFLs, but you might consider a C&R license for military surplus. Most sellers offer a handpick service. If this isn't enough, you might need to visit the Valley Forge gun show. But, everything has a price. You'll likely pay more at a gun show, and that doesn't include the admission fee.

Try Surplus City, they usually have decent stuff. Another +1 for gun shows as they usually have cases for sale - just get their early as pickens get slim the last day.

Dittos on the Surplus City, Bustleton Pike in Feasterville. Mil-surp and the "whatever else stumble upon" you mentioned. Got a Russian Makarov .380 for under $200 before the holidays, right place at the right time thing...worth the trip...Mike45

Any particular year you are looking for in a K31? I believe I have 4 of them and I might consider selling one or two.

I'd like to get one with walnut stock, matching numbers, and the troop I.D. I'd prefer something from the 40's, maybe 50's.

I have the ID's and some walnut and some beech stocks. I'd have to take a look at the years. The one that I shoot is a 1953 and the trigger on that rifle is amazing.

Hey Aubie, you get a chance to check your rifles? Send me pics/prices if you get a chance.
