Have a brief layover in Allentoen this week. Was looking for a good gunshop to peruse new gun selection, used stuff and prices. have exhausted all shops in my neighborhood and always interested in something new. thx

The Army navy store on Grape Street behind the Lehigh Valley Mall is close. There will be a gun show this weekend on the outskirts of town. North of town are two good shops near each other in Walnutport and Slatington. West of town there is Hangunner in Topton, of Golden Trigger in Emmaus. Bring your wallet.

If "perusing" is your desire, there's always Cabela's about a 1/2hr. ride west. They have LOTS of toys to peruse.=)
May not always be the cheapest price, but they do have selection. Both new and pre-owned.

If you've never been to Cabela's you owe it to yourself to visit at least once just to see the store. If they don't have it, you probably don't need it. I'm on my way there this coming Saturday. I never leave there empty handed. =)

I live 5min away from ArmyNavy but I'd take 30 min ride to American Sport Shooting to buy my toys, I wouldn't waste my time (and my pride) at ArmyNavy. If you have some spare time, drive up to American Sport Shooting and you won't be disappointed.

In Brodheadsville, 570.992.4450. Ask for Rich(owner). He's also a PAFOA member.

LastMan,

Just in case you like to take a ride to American Sport Shooting.

From Lehigh Valley Mall. Take 22E to 33N Strouburg, take Saylorsburg Exit and keep right, turn right on Old 115 and to 209S, turn left onto 209S and go all the way to the end, keep left, you'll see Chestnut Hill Dinner at the end, turn left onto Chestnut Hill and about a mile or two, American Sport Shooting is on your right.

If I have some free time, I may go up there on this Sunday coming, looking for a (another) 9mm. Wanna tag along, shoot me a line. ;0).
