Hemlockshooters is hosting a "Memorial Shoot" for Meleanie Hain's children.

Location:

60 River Road
Prompton, PA 18456

Driving Directions:
Just off Rt 6 in Prompton, PA. 4 miles west of Honesdale, turn right on River Road, just before the bridge.

Time: is 12:00 noon till 4:00pm.

ENTRY FEE = $10.00 P.P.

RAFFLE WILL BE HELD, prizes will be given out that day or sent to winners if you cannot stay.

REFRESHMENTS: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers & Sodas will be available for purchase.
100% of all moneys collected will go to whatever fund is set up for the benefit of Meleanie kids. (Fund is still being arranged, details will follow)

Hemlockshooters will be grateful for all that want to help, please PM hgsw67 or e-mail Hemlockshooters@aol.com if you wish to donate something for the raffle, or can help with logistics.

...and as soon as those involved figure it out, please let me know what I can bring as far as donations for the family and raffle items.

EDIT: If anyone else from my area is going PM me regarding car pooling or caravaning. I'd love to ride up together with some fellow Poofers.

I'm going to try to make this. It's only about a 2 1/2 hour drive from me (per mapquest). If anyone from the Montco area is interested in a carpool or convoy (or motorcycle convoy, depending on weather) let me know.

When I searched Google for "Meleanie Hain Memorial Shoot" the first thing that came up was a negative post criticizing the event.

Some people just don't get it. The husband committed an act of domestic violence against her that resulted in her death. This could have happened with a fist, pot, knife or a base ball bat.
