The "2nd Amendment Duck race" is going to be a bunch of rubber ducks with a unique number on them.

They are allowed to free float down the Little Chartiers Creek around the gun club till the first duck crosses the finish line who ever has the wining ticket number wins half of the pot in that race.

Also some of you may not know much about FOAC - Firearm Owners Against Crime

read more about them on their web site.

http://www.foac-pac.org/

Some of their activities of a ALL Volunteer organization besides doing the Pro gun voters guides, they also lobbying to protect your firearm rights, they hold elected officials by tracking their votes, public statements and comments.

Kim Stolfer is the chairman, they are based in southwestern PA, which is the one of reason there are so many pro gun Reps from western PA on both sides of the aisle, because they hold elected people accountable at election time.

FOAC probably do more to protect and enhance your firearm rights in PA than anyone and was created to do the job the big name national organization don’t do in PA.

FOAC is the Best Kept Secret in PA political activism..

What FOAC lacks is funding, and your involvement. So if you can come or even buy a ticket in the 2nd amendment duck contest it will be greatly appreciated and help them help you by protecting your firearm rights.

Did some timed trial runs established the boundaries of course to run the duck for race. Its going to be interesting seeing how water currents and other factors let one duck beat another acrossed the finished line.

you need not be present to win the duck race, tickets available by mail
order by contacting : dmlsc@fyi.net

Every little bit of cash helps FOAC mission to protect your firearm rights.

Unlike other Political Action Committees FOAC is all volunteers so everything goes to fight for the cause, like printing up Pro Gun voters guides.

The FOAC Pro gun voter guides are available here along with other FOAC information, Thanks for everyone support.

The shooting competitions entry fee is $5 bucks per event.
FOAC will be giving away Giant Eagle gift cards for turkeys for the winners of EACH shooting event.

There will be two 50/50 duck races;
one at approximately 11am and the other at 1pm

The first race 50/50 that someone is going to win is at least $300 and the second race will be at least $250 as of the tickets sold (10-12-09)

Attached is the list of prizes we will be auctioning off or awarding as prizes at the turkey shoot including a AR-15 conversion to 22 long rifle - see attachment.

A Mossberg shotgun is not listed but will be given away.
