A change of pace this month at LRGC. It's gonna be a short course, with pistol, rifle and shottie stages. Shottie will be fired on the trap range.
Here's the complete CoF, the loadouts, and the match format.

For those that have not shot with us before, we require that you arrive 30 minutes early, or 0830 in order to attend a mandatory safety briefing.
New procedures starting this month will require a brief inspection of gear. We're not gonna dig under your charging handle with a white glove here. We only want to make sure you have a proper, strong side holster, eye/ear protection, and a serviceable firearm that you know how to operate properly.
Starting this month and for the remainder of 2009, the match fees are $10 members, $20 non-members. Also effective for this year - shooters under 18 years of age may not shoot the match on their own. We will grant specific and particular exceptions for this if the young person's parent has been shooting with us regularly. The parent/child must meet at the range on a non-match day where the prospective shooter will be required to demonstrate that they can efficiently load, unload, show clear, handle an induced malfunction, and repeatably demonstrate all safety practices required. If the shooter is not ready, please don't take it personally. Again, this paragraph applies to under 18 yoa only.
There are prizes that will be issued. We have Gold, Silver, and Bronze dog tag sets for this match. They are excellent, and it's likely we'll continue with them. We also have some food planned. A large pot of hot soup, and some baked ziti I believe. Please bring your own beverages.
Thank you all for a successful year in 2008. I just ordered eight new pieces of steel, including four spring-reset popper type targets. If these arrive, they will be used in the January match. I'm starting to get stage suggestions from people, and I like that a lot.
See you on the 31st and remember, we go rain, sleet, snow or shine!
