Getting down to the final week.

Keep spreading the word. From my experience, most people make last minute decisions to come to shoots so remind everyone that expressed interest before that it's on the 13th.

I'm working on putting together some door prize stuff to add to the fun of the day, so if any of you have something you want to add, please see me when you show up. We'll probable give everyone a number when they sign in and then call out various winners through out the day.

Whats the weather going to be like? I heard 50's, but will rain hold off I wonder?

I'm starting to get together my list of firearms:
- VZ52 rifle
- M1 Carbine
- Winchester 1886
- Some AK-74 clone (5.45)

And maybe one or two others - probably something in 8mm Mauser and something in either 7.62x54R or .223. Probably a .22 as well to slow down consumption of expensive ammo.

Anyone have any decent 7.62x54R ball ammo? I think all I have is Tracer and API.

I really hope the rain doesn't scare people away. I'm going rain or shine. I'll just have to take the stainless guns. Just checked the forcast and they are guessing "chance of a shower", so that's sounds ok to me.

I'll trade ya a box of 54 for a box of 223.

Last I read it's supposed to be 58 with a chance of rain later in the day, but even so, a little rain never hurt anyone.

Sounds like a plan - let me verify that I don't have any ball ammo first. Also, the .223 I have is Ultramax (reloaded commercial bought). Just an FYI.

Maybe I'll bring a tarp or something for the rifles - nothing I have is stainless except for my dinnerware and two of my pistols

NICE! I was just pondering the kind of footwear to bring. It might only be engineer boots as I am lacking anything else casual except sneakers.
